Once upon a time when I was a little girl I dreamed of being an independent girl by the age of 30 with my own house and car and wearing white clothes all the time.

Over 15 years later, at the age of almost-30, I am not independent and don’t have my own house and car, and I certainly don’t wear white all the time.

I am married and have two young kids. Since our marriage we have been living in different parts of the world. We are expats and we are multicultural.

My life now is much more interesting and wonderful than I could’ve dreamed of when I was a little girl.
